Is it possible to have multiple items on your clipboard?

Question

Is it possible to have multiple items on your clipboard, there are many things that I need to keep handy to copy quickly, but my clipboard only allows me to save 1 thing?

There's an office clipboard included in microsoft office. If you open up Microsoft Word the clipboard will allow you to save multiple things. There are other free tools which perform the same feature.

Are you talking about in MS office? If you are, just open you clipboard (Edit > Office Clipboard) and copy everything you want, one after another. At the top of the clipboard, it should say how many things will fit on it. When you're ready to paste, click where you want to paste, then click the item from your clipboard that you want to paste. Hope this helps!

I think there's an "append command" that can be used to append or add things to whatever is already on your clipboard. Don't know what the command is, but I'm sure there are tons of Microsoft techies out there who can tell you.

Also, you can use a regular wordprocessing document to store all your items, and copy and paste from that document.

You can download "3D Clipboard 1.0 Build" for free. While you can only have one item on the clipboard, this program allows you to have multiple clipboards by remembering what you put in your clipboard. It puts an icon in your tray area. Clicking this icon allows you to select from the items currently in your clipboard
