why is it so important for MOST of you (notice how i said MOST, not ALL) for most of you to get married?? and what benefits do you get, getting married that you CAN'T get not being married?? please answer...

A feeling of security! It's instinct for women to want a stable enviornment for their babies. Cohabitating will never feel as definite as marraige, it's the ultimate proof that the other person intends to stick around.... until they get divorced anyway!

Too many people are in love with the idea of the ring, the proposal, the idea being married, and the idea of the wedding ceremony, etc. They've forgotten that they should be in love with the actual person they are going to marry through thick and thin.

I didn't want to get married until I met my husband, so I am probably not the right candidate.
Two things people don't know about marriage:
You are more free, not tied down
The sex just keeps getting better
I have kids now, I wouldn't have chosen a family as a single.

I can only answre for myself. I would be content as can be with a lifelong commitment and no marriage. BUT-I would not be opposed to having a ring also. I don't feel I want to get married, I am 28 years old and I am for the most part content with my 'better half'.

You get the satisfaction of knowing that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you and only you. Men (in general) are visual creatures and enjoy looking at the opposite sex. I don't have a problem with this, as long as I am the one he thinks of while he's with me. So, if a guy chooses to end all romantic relationships and be with me, it's like winning the Miss America pageant....you are his...you win his heart.

well some girls dream to get married and have a family that they can call they own and have kids and they kids not be a bast*** but i think it stupid to get marry bcz it the same story if your marry or not

2. Children are legitimate not bastards
3. More security
4. More standing in case of divorce
