Hi There!
To look and feel healthy - you must eat healthy!!!...and excercise at least 3 times a week...the excercises should be of various types - cardiac....either running/walking(gently does it if you havent done this before...start off by doing a 10 minute brisk walk/run...then after a week get to do 15 mins and so on) Toning...press ups and the use of weights.
To eat healthy start the day by having a good breakfast....either a bowl of porridge or 2 weetabix and milk or good old eggs and bacon!!
You need to feel full to last through til lunchtime...only snacks inbetween meals are...fruit, carrot and celery batons, or about 10 almonds...or about a small handful of pumpkin seeds/ sunflower seeds.
For lunch take a salad to work with you....prepare it the night before if necessary...take a small tin of tuna/salmon or about 3 slices of ham in a separate dish...the only dressing you can have is vinegar and a sprinkling of salad seasoning by schwartz which has no calories.
For a dessert you could try two slices of melon...or some berry fruits which are not only good for you...but are extremely low in calores...try raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi fruiit, pineapple or make a small fruit salad the night before ready to take with you.
mid afternoon...try a low fat yoghurt.
Try to cut out all potatoes, pasta and bread for the first two weeks...and then only introduce back into your diet GRADUALLY...you will find that when you first start eating them again they will make you feel bloated....this is what carbs do....you can get carbs from vegetables and salads.
Cut out all sugar, sweets, crisps, processed foods....THINK AND EAT HEALTHY!!!
For your evening meal...you could try some steamed veg (no potatoes) with maybe a baked salmon steak/fillet....or some steamed veg with a steak/chicken portion/etc
Anyway - Good luck....and dont forget...to lose weight successfully you must incorporate some excercise to burn the fat off!

To lose weight, you need to reduce the calorie intake by some amount. It is important to develop a healthy diet , so that body receives sufficient nutrients even as you try to lose weight. Check the calorie count of the food you eat. A diet without sufficient nutrients like vitamins and minerals will only increase your appetite when you are trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan to lose weight , additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles to increase the metabolic rate. Small changes in your diet can help you lose a lot of weight. More information on a weight loss diet, calorie content of various food items, exercises, etc is available at http://tinyurl.com/jax5h

You should always eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Try to stay clear of any processed foods, easier said than done I know. The main thing though is alcohol, if you drink lots of alcohol you are drinking a diretic, like tea or coffee. This dehydrates you and your body, thinking there must be a drought, stores water, this will make you look heaps bigger than you actually are. Drink less booze and more water, exercise a bit, dont need a gym just walk up and down stairs instead of taking the lift etc and you should see a marked improvment given time. Good luck.

I can't guarantee you will lose weight but, firstly ensure that your diet includes as much fibre (roughage) as possible.
A lot of so-called dietary supplements will have a 'caveat' attached that says ' will help lose weight as part of a calorie controlled diet' so the ball is firmly in your court.
Try the link below if you're still unsure. Or go and see a dietician/nutritionist.

Just eat well and try and lower your calorie intake. Don't go hungry tho, if you feel hungry have some fruit or something equally healthy!
My favourite tip tho is don't deny yourself anything you fancy, if you want a little bit of something like chocolate, have some, just do it in moderation!

I've recently lost 3 stone, and did this by eating smaller portions for lunch and dinner (too lazy for exercise!). I would just have yogurt and lots fruit for lunch.
I still eat everything i want, just smaller amounts of it. The weight just fell off..
Make sure you go to the toilet regularly too, this can help!
