yes, it can be removed.
Call your doctor.
In the meantime, go to your pharmacy and get a topical treatment for the pain. They at least take the edge off.
Good luck!

Could be scar tissue or it could be a neuroma. Not sure if your doctor has mentioned that before. Neuromas are common and can happen anytime you have surgery. Sometimes the nerves that are severed during an operation grow back in a jumble and can cause significant pain. Talk to your doctor about the possibility of a nerve block in that area. It's done under local anesthesia by a radiologist (medical doctor) and normally done under fluoroscopy (xray.)

Effects scar tissue on back pain and leg pain :

The formation of scar tissue near the nerve root (also called epidural fibrosis) is a common occurrence after back surgery—so common, in fact, that it often occurs for patients with successful surgical outcomes.

Scar tissue formation is part of the normal healing process after a spine surgery. While scar tissue can be a cause of back pain or leg pain, in and of itself the scar tissue is rarely painful since the tissue contains no nerve endings.

so use pain relievers to relieve ur pain temporarily coz the pain decreases permanently after it heals but it takes 3-5 years sumtimes more than 5yrs also.U have to wait.

Laryngectomy is the surgical removal of the larynx and separation of the airway from the mouth, nose, and esophagus. The laryngectomee breathes through an opening in the neck. It is done in cases of laryngeal cancer.

There should be no pain at all at the site of surgery as it was done 6 years back. It is also not due to any tissue pressing on the nerves. It may be due to some infection which you might have contracted in the breathing process.

You should immediately see your oncologist (Surgical) and reassess the position. I think this can be cured by medication only and there is no reason for any seriousness. Please visit the oncologist immediately.

Best of Luck
