I've cooked about 6 thin pork fillets and had some left over. What I'd like to do is add them to a curry sauce I make; to make a kind of pork curry.

But can you reheat pork? If so, are there any guidelines for its reheating?

You can reheat it -- I have four pork chops in my fridge right now, left over from Wednesday. I'll probably make fried rice with them over the weekend, that's my typical leftover-pork trick.

The only trick to reheating pork is that it can get dry if it's already fully cooked and if the cut you're using is thin. For your pork curry, I'd brown a minced onion in butter, add your curry spices, then put in cubes of the pork and a little plain yogurt (one spoonful at a time) to make the sauce. Serve with fresh basmati rice and a nice hot achar and you should be rocking.

Certainly you can reheat pork!!! Your curry idea sounds like a great way to use up leftovers.

If reheating pork (not cured ham) that is not strongly flavored (like curry), I find the microwave makes the fresh pork taste funky, so I heat it up on the stove. Not sure why that is, but it just is.

Ofcourse you can as long as its heated thoroughly before you eat it. For all those people who said 'NO', what a load of rubbish. I've been doing this for a while now and no problems here (apad frim me Spalling and Coordinashion!). Seriosuly though, how do you think restaurants, kebab shops and the like serve food? Its been reheated so many times, it could literaly catch fire. Don't worry bout heating it up again, just don't do it more than twice as it tends to dry the meat and make it flavourless.

Sure you can reheat pork, the pork is already cooked so it is safe to eat. Warm it and add to the curry sauce.

you can reheat pork but only once and you can even cook it leave it to cool freeze it then defrost it later then reheat it but the rule is only reheat once.

Pork curry sounds gross. Try dicing the fillets and add to a nice herby tomatoe sauce with mushrooms, sliced green peppers and diced onions. When the sauce is bubbling turn down the heat and then add the pork. Season to taste and when you are happy the pork is warmed through add some grated cheese and serve on a bed of rice with a side plate of salad and hot crusty bread. Enjoy
