I don't believe in gods for the same reason I don't believe in Santa or the Tooth Fairy.

Yes. There have been things in my life like the loss of 12 family members since the age of 13 (now 26). Friends dying/killed, car accidents, etc. I would not have been able to remain sane without His help and blessings. Losing your apartment, two cars and a job within months. Being in homeless shelters with my then 2 yr old daughter for almost a year. My sanity was shaky at best. Having nothing to hold but faith in God. Strangely, He took it all away in my opinion for life lessons sake. Basically that He was in charge of all, and I have control of nothing.

Now I have a job, a car, a place of my own. Plenty of sanity and peace, and appreciation for life and the things it brings with it. The hard part is staying the course. Those are just some reasons why I believe.

Yes, and I won't sit here and state every single reason because their are millions. If people would take the time to read a philosophy book about the existence or even non existence of God there would be a lot more people better off. People believe the more intelligent you are the more of a fairy tale God seems like because we control our destiny as humans and we are the measure of all things. Take C.S. Lewis for example. He was an athiest for like 30 years of his life until something changed him and he became one of the foremost proponents of the existence of God. By no means could you call him uneducated or just going off of what other people said. He was brilliant in his endeavours, a genius even. Give God a chance at least, not religion, just God, determine for yourself after having reason to whether or not you believe in him.

Yes of Course I believe in God as well as Jesus Christ his son. The reason is simple. Jesus saved my life, and God was the one one that allowed him to do so. He saved my life by taking my punishment and dying on the cross. Fairy tales you may say? The Bible has been proclaimed by the Scientific world to be the most historicaly acurate book in the world, all of the prophacies have come true. For example Isaiah said that Eventually Tyre would be destroyed and the ruble would used as a place for fishermen to hang their nets. Guess what that's what happened.

I believe in God because the world is too perfect to be created from an explosion. Just think about it... we have every thing we need to survive. There are millions of species on this planet. In nature, there are mathematical attributes (like the spirals on a sea shell, the bottom of a pine cone, etc.).

I believe in God for many different reasons, but they all can be summed up in one main reason. One irreducible reason why I believe in God, and that is -
I want to believe in the existence of God.
Isn't that really simple-minded?
I want to believe there is a God.

Don't be ridiculous. In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd
