How could he presume to know if Steve Irwin was saved or not? DId he ever ask him?

We should not only be praying for the Steve Irwins who are unsaved, but for all of the people in the world that are unsaved.

I don't know if he was Saved or not, but your Pastor is right. Pray for the excessive risk takers ,(Steve Irwins), of this world who are unsaved.

First off, if your pastor said that then he should hang his head in shame. Who is he to presume, what arrogance and pride does he have, that he can even make such a statement.
Secondly, what kind of church or denomination do you belong to that believes that only their definition of saved or unsaved is the standard by which all are judged.
I would say to you, that you need to go to your Pastor, stare him in the face, and remind him that Pride is a mortal sin, and it is Pride which he eschewed when he made that comment.

I think your pastor is an idiot- with no sense of decency or respect. I think it's humorous that your pastor seems to think HE's "saved" and not Steve Irwin.
