I like everything about my body except for the little innertube around my belly and hips. You know the one that really shows when your pants are a little tight and it sticks out, really gross. What is the best exercise for me? I don't want to get rid of anything else just that. I have started Taebo and I feel really good I am really getting the hang of it and it is really really fun. Should I just keep doing that alone or is there something I can add to my daily workout to make it come off faster? Thanks for your help.

I feel the burn when I am doing Taebo. If I have to loose other areas too that will be fine as long as I don't have this stomach anymore. I have already lost 25lbs but I got sidetracked for a couple of months due to a few complications. But I'm back on track now. I don't need to change my eating habits a whole lot. I drink only water and I don't eat a whole lot.

Taebo is an excellent excercise routine and to get the most out of it you must make sure you are holding in your abs through the entire session. I hope this helps!

I had that problem last year.Everything is perfectly fine except for that bulge. I started attending Turbo Kick Boxing Class @ 24 Hour Fitness and one of the main target core is your abdominal. After taking this class 3 times a week, I have seen results in 2-3 weeks. TaeBo is a great video but Turbo Jam targets the whole body and also gives you an ab workout. On top of that I also own a Body Ball. This is a perfect gadget to have to do your sit ups. Trust me it works :) Good Luck!

Sadly, you cannot "spot reduce". The only way to get rid of that fat is to lower your body fat %.
Diet is extremely important. To slim your body you must:
Burn more calories than you eat.
Cut your fat intake.
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it) and pineapples. This helps you break down your food.
Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning). This will attack the fat.
Do 30 min of weight training three times a week. This will build lean muscle which will in turn burn fat.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%
Following a good program should reduce this area over time.
Be Blessed

Sounds like you need to just work on your stomach then. Tabeo is just going to help you burn calories and fat. May even help you lose weight. If you like your weight limit the tabeo and do mainly ab work. Pilates Zone is good. I used it. Its only like 5 minutes long. You don't have to do a lot of crunches to see results. I used it for about 3 weeks and lost 2 1/2 inches off my waist.

what you need to get rid of the fat around the middle is an allover body workout. you really can't "target" one area of the body. i know lots of people who think they can just work one area and they never get the results they want.
some great allover body workouts are: walking or running. power yoga and pilates.
combine that with lifting free weights at home (do this for 15-20 minutes three times a week while watching TV... easy!) and you will get results.
You will get rid of that inner tube if you are CONSISTENT with your exercise.

Sit ups will help abs. However for general fitness walking or running is great, use good shoes like New Balance.

Cardio is king next to diet. Diet is a way of eating not a "diet."
Follow your food intake with a free acct. on www.FitDay.com
It's not perfect but close. If anything it will open your eyes. I do not find the activities it lists to be accurate but the "foods" catagory is.
