Doubt that anyone on here knows of his finances -- that is private to him, his family, and his accountant. But, he would be extremely stupid to try to do that. And, why should he. He makes plenty of money. He is in too much of the public eye to not be claiming his income.

I would doubt it. Bill Gates would only be able to hide small amounts, as most of his income comes from a great big audited company. Why would a man worth billions risk a jail sentence for a piddling amount of tax savings?

I wouldn't think he would try to hide anything. He's the richest man in the world. The IRS probably has a team of accountants that make sure he stays legal.

Plus, most of his money is in stock which doesn't have to be reported until he sells it. He does have to report dividends though.
