I respect most people, and will respect their beliefs. IF they don't cram them down the throats of the ones with different beliefs.
Religion should be a personal choice. Whether you believe in God or not. Really who cares what others think?

Yes in general I do. Unless of course they are the type who speak one thing and do another. I have respect for all religions and their beliefs. I think before we decide to put anyone down we need to walk a mile in their shoes.

I do not agree with all religious teachings or respect all of the things religious people do, but I truly believe in freedom of conscience and respect every person's right to choose and practice his or her faith or moral philosophy freely, so long as they do not interfere with the rights and freedoms of others.
Every religion I have studied or personally experienced has something good to teach. Unfortunately, at least from my perspective, they also have terrible flaws, promote ignorance, and encourage immorality. I don't follow them for this reason, but that doesn't give me the right to try to force someone else to not follow his or her conscience in choosing to follow them.

You know? If people want to have a religion, I sure do wish that they would follow the principles of whatever it is that they claim to believe. I am a Christian. I was on the train one time and I met a boy who said that he worshipped Satan. So I was like, "Wow. Welp, I worship God." And we had a pretty interesting conversation without bashing eachother in the head. Everyone has the freedom to choose life or death if they want. Jesus never forced salvation down people's throat, but he sure did take the time to let them know the choice they do have. I am the same way when people tell me what they believe.

I am a religious person so I respect them. I also respect people of other faiths, as long as they practice what they believe and what they believe doesn't harm me. I sometimes have difficulty respecting people who say they believe in something and follow it, but have no idea of what they are actually following.

I have absolute respect for others' beliefs. What I don't have respect for though, is someone whose sole intent here is to try to tear down other peoples' beliefs. There are a number of those who come here regularly. (And those guys know exactly who they are)

I respect the people who can have a discussion, not an argument. I am more interested in people who believe differently from me.

I do not respect their religion, but it doesn't necessarily mean I disrespect them. I am an atheist and it bothers the hell out of me when people shove religious crap down my throat all the time. If you keep your religion to yourself, I am fine with you.
