He sounds like he's playing a head game with you and you're falling for it. He obviously is the "top dog" in the relationship and knows that you'll grovel to get him back. If I were you, I'd lay low for quite a while and see what happens. If he comes to you, then you become more independent and lose the "Underdog" position. If he doesn't come back, it wasn't meant to be. In all the world we have many love opportunities out there--we have been taught that there is a 'one and only' for us. Ask any divorced person, male or female, if that isn't the case. Do not allow another person to manipulate you or your feelings. Be strong--I promise you, you will be stronger for it and better off in the long run.

If you really love him then respect his boundaries. You sound possessive. Be happy he broke up with you and did not drag you through a big nasty round of cheating on you. Give him some space show him you can change and go on with your life. You may find out that you can move on with out him. Or, he may realize he is missing you and come back.

Hi ashley c,

You need to forget him, Ashley and move forward. You can't go back. Get out with your girl friends and be seen by other guys. You will find somebody else. Treat this X as a learning experience and figure out how to improve things with the next guy.

Good luck, and happy hunting.

Get on with your life. Do something that will make you interesting and attractive, like get a hobby and become happy with who you are by yourself, that way you will be too busy to miss him, you will meet others, you may meet someone else. You can't make someone want to be with you. Time will heal you and your heart. There is someone out there who will want to be with you and will be a perfect match for you, you won't find him if you're crying over someone else, so STOP IT!

Keep in mind that everything happens for a reason. This could be a blessing in disguise. Maybe your "Mr. Right" is waiting for you and that's the reason for this break-up. Please dont beg him to be back w/u, 'cause that only gives him strength to move further away. I understand how you feel, but you have to fight those feelings and occupy your thoughts & time with something else.

Let him go. I know that it sounds way to hard to do right now, but he's your ex for a reason. Get out there and meet new people.
