It could be both, just as heterosexual love/sex could be both.

Homosexuality is different than it was described in the Bible. In the Bible, especially in the story of Lot, men were just lusting after other men. REAL homosexuality, though, as can be seen everywhere it exists, is just as real as heterosexuality. They experience love, lust, heartach, and drama just like heterosexuals. The differences between the two types of relationships are not significant enough to measure.

...I really do hate these ignorant single-braincelled morons who react like "omg grosss!!!1!!2!".
It entirely depends...it's the same as heterosexuality, apart from the object of your affections being of the same sex. A straight guy can be more sex-driven and lusty, and a gay guy can be commitment-minded, serious and very loving.
It is a shame that so many people in the gay "scene" are the only guy people that really get any publicity though, as they DO tend to be those who embrace lust and carefeee promiscuity, which really doesn't help change homosexuals' image in the eyes of the masses.

It really depends on the situation. Two guys who love each other are homosexual lovers, even if they don't have sex. In that case it's love. If it's a one-night fling, it's lust.
Just like heterosexual love and lust. There's no difference between homosexuals and heterosexuals.

Regardless of whether you are talking about straights or gays, love and sex are not the same thing. Homosexuals are just as capable for forming deep, meaningful loving relationships as are we breeders. They can also experience just as much lust as breeders. The difference is that homosexuals do it with people of the same gender.

It's the same as with heterosexuals....sometimes it's love, sometimes it's lust...depends on the person and the relationship. My uncle is in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend, they really love and care for each other and they are very happy!

If two people are consummating their love for each other then it is not lust. It doesn't matter whether or not two heterosexuals or two homosexuals are involved.

It is no more so or less than heterosexual sex. It all depends on the people involved
