Well first of all what is his reasons for not going? If they are legit don't dump him if they seem to be a flat out lie, girl you know what to do!

Well maybe you should think about if you really want to be with him. Because it doesn't seem like it. Just because he doesn't go to homecoming is not a real valid reason and if you chose this as your reason maybe you already wanted to dump him but can't find anything to do it for. This isn't a good reason just do it just because!

Yeah, dump him. Do him a favor lol. You seem pretty shallow to be ready to dump someone after a year just because they may not want to go to a retarded homecoming. That's like him wanting to dump you if you didn't want to do something he would like. Dont force people.........been there done that, it was a pretty big waste of time.......but you're young you'll learn that sooner or later.

Maybe YES, dump him, let him find a nice girl. But you always remember that and later when you get dumped for some reason; maybe fat hips after 4 kids, going bald, etc., think back. What goes around, comes around

Wow, thats horrible. I guess he doesn't me that much to you if your going to dump him just because he doesn't want to go to homecoming. Maybe you should think about why your together with him in the first place if he doesn't mean that much to you.

A relationship is so much more than a dance. Its a little disappointing if he does not go to the dance but not worth a great guy and a year of dating. In a relationship there are sacrifices made on both parts and some things are just not worth fighting over. learn to pick your battles

That's a pretty lame reason to dump someone, especially after going out for a year.
Would you like it if he dumped you if you didn't go to something that was important to him? Like a ballgame, or comicbook convention, whatever it is?
