Well, if you're wanting the police report it probably isn't even complete yet. You can call the police station and get a CAD (computer aided dispatch) of the accident, which will describe where it happened, who was involved, etc. Dispatchers at most stations use CADs to track which officer was sent where, when , and other vital info. These are usually public record. (I live in a small town and the radio station usually reads off any "interesting" ones- car accidents, domestics, etc. Very cheesey in my opinion.)

You can check the news, but other than that there isn't anything you can do. The people involved in the accident haven't filed their crash reports yet, and I'm pretty sure those would be confidential anyway. If the police issued tickets, those too would be confidential.

Unless you were involved with the accident, in which case you should call the police department that responded to the accident.
