Most male pattern baldness is caused by testosterone, the male androgen hormone and women have much lower levels of that hormone in their bodies [ as a rule ] Women certainly can have conditions like alopecia which causes total body hairloss including eyelashes and eyebrows, and that is a baldness that isn't related to testosterone levels.

Baldness is found in women. There are many conditions, such as propesia, where the hair falls out in patterns, but I dont know what causes this. Hormones can cause male-pattern baldness.

there are women out there who suffer from baldness. it isn't as common as male baldness

baldness is found in women, its just that women have a great way of concealing it without being to noticeable. wigs, hairpieces, braids, extensions.

Sometimes it is. Elderly ladies have less hair, that is for sure. But... why is not the same with them as with the men.. ? Well - imagine women without hair! That would be a disaster!
Oh, I know why!
Men have hair on their chest, on their face, etc. W have almost everything on our head;)

actually my grandma is nearly completely bald, you can see right to her scalp thru what thinning hair she has left
i think its less common, and also women are more comfortable with wearing wigs than i think men are

women don't usually go completly bald, but their hair can thin dramatically when they get old. it's a genetic thing.
