A careful distinction needs to be made here as to whether you believe in the religion of Jesus, or the religion about Jesus. Much of evangelical Christianity is the religion about Jesus, based on the myth rather than the man and therefore exclusive and damning and centers on salvation. The religion of Jesus is inclusive, accepting and about love.

I suspect that there may have been a Yeshua of Nazareth, but I don't think he had any special powers or origins. I think that a lot of tales got tacked on to his after his death because his followers wanted to believe he was the Messiah and shoehorned all the legends they could find on to him. I think they believed that Jesus would end the Roman occupation and that Judgement Day was going to happen within his lifetime. When he got himself killed as a martyr, his followers decided he was going to come back one day to finish what he started...within their lifetimes. When that didn't happen, they came up with excuses of "no man may know the hour" to cover their bets.
And we're stuck with the result.

I believe in spell check and school learning
I feel many are cults, especially christianity founded upon Saul who killed Jews then created own fabrication and called it special revelation like David Koresh with just as dire results for himself and his new cult members who broke away from Judaism in Act 15 and 22
read it for yourself and see Paul had to perform this ritual which meant he was a two faced liar and see that for some reason Pharisees were demonized in gospels but then he proclaims to be one who studied under Gamaliel (Acts 5) who also predicts his demise vs 34 onwards

Christianity is one of the fringe, lunatic ultimate truths that has as it's end goal the destruction of the world. It is to be feared and eradicated before it carries out a self-fulfilling prophesy to do it.

I accept Christ as my savior. But it is hard for me to identify with one view of Christianity (like Cathlics, Babtists, etc) because they are all so different in opinions. I simply say I am a Christian.
Aren't people so sad?

Christianity has become more and more dangerous for society as a whole. It is becoming cult-like. Have you seen clips from the movie, Jesus Camp? I'm going to see the movie tonight.
I don't "believe in" Jesus, any more than I believe in Santa Claus.

I believe Jesus was an awesome man, very enlightened, one of the few souls who does not "have" to come back here to undo his karma. I think he meant to show us how to live (like him) not teach us that only by believing in him will we make it to heaven.
I am sure it saddens him that is what so many Christians believe.

Don't care for it much. The people who believe tend to be from the lower social orders and they need to be led by something, anything as long as they don't have to think for themselves

I don't like it much, Most of it teaches people to be closed minded and intolerant of others. Besides most christians always claim they know that their way is the only way to god. And I find that very self righteous. like the holier than thou.

It is the best and truest religion, because our solid foundation is found in Christ Jesus and no other religion can make this claim, because we have the truth and life that is in Christ Jesus, and yes we have proof Jesus has risen Matthew 28-6.
