She also has a sore on her first digit, right paw. 2 days a go, I put antibiotic ointment on her paw, and she kept licking it off. This was about 3 applications. Could she have ans allergy to the ointment? I havent changed anything else in her diet.

It sounds like she's having a reaction to something, be it the medicine or maybe whatever caused the wound you were putting the medicine on. It may have been a beesting on her paw, and that might be what is swelling her face. If she is still swollen, call and ask your vet about administering some Benadryl to her.

Well, first off, I would most definately be contacting my vet about this problem. It could be an allergic reaction to the ointment, especially if she has a rash anywhere. Was this ointment given to you by your vet? It definately sounds like a reaction to something, similar to Congenctivitis. I'd stop with the ointment IMMEDIATELY and contact your vet.

This could be many things, from allergies to mange, and maybe even an entropian issue (eyelids turned in causing eyelashes to rub eyes) & should definately be seen by a vet. She needs treatment & relief - the poor dog must be miserable!

She could've developed an allergy to something very simple. Yes she could alsobe allergic to the antbiotic cream. Make sure u ask the vet about corn allergies. our dogs are very allergic to it and we've had 2 change all foods & treats bcuz of it. Also watch what type of humane foods u give her it culd b that. Good luck

That sounds like an ear problem with the shaking of the head. Maybe an infection or mites. You can check this by looking in her ears and if there appears to be black dirt in her ears she may have mites. Also if you smell her ears they should have a sweet smell, it it smells sour or bad then it's an ear infection.
