A nice salad loaded with lots of fresh greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc...etc..... and how about some fresh fruit. And though you already have the starch a nice fresh loaf of french bread is always yummy!
And for those of you who don't seem to know what porcupine meatballs are, um, duh, they aren't actually made from porcupine. They are seasoned hamburger with rice. Geez.

I agree with the buttered noodles answer or buttered rice. Just made some last week in a mushroom gravy over rice and served it with steamed broccoli. Turned out really good.

Mashed potatoes, gravy (although you should have gravy/juice from making the mearballs), cut green beans, and tapioca pudding for dessert.

Momma used to make them....yummmm!!!
I would make mashed potatoes with butter, maybe some baked macaroni & cheese, and either corn or asparagus....yummm!!!
