I have several books, but no info on the model 12 shotgun.

Here's an NRA site that explains disassembly. I just love how the barrel assembly is removed on the Model 12, very ingenuous.

I got a second hand model 12 a couple of years ago, but I haven't disassembled it or shot it yet. I have many shotguns so I really haven't got to know it yet, but I really should because the magazine doesn't seem to work.

I have a model 12 (12 GA), mine is at least 30 years old. Father bought it before he had me and then passed it on to me. I have disassembled it, but I couldn't explain how. I just took my time and laid it all out exactly as it came apart. I didn't have a problem with reassembly.
