i think about 10 to 12 years. This is where you usually cross a generational line.

Think about it. if you are 22 what would you have in common with a 12 year old.

Now really think about it. there is that much difference in experience between a 22 year old and a 33 year old.

Usually the 22 year old will argue this contention, but when you listen to their argument, it typically proves the point.

I think it depends on the ages. If your 30 and he's 40 then no problem. If your 20 and he's 30 still no problem other than you might not be mature enough to handle the kind of relationship the older man might want. If your 16 an he's 26 big problem. notice I used 10 years and the age gap each time. The older a person get the less the gap seems to be noticed but if you are young then you really should stick to your own age group.

It depends on the age you are now. If you are 16 looking to date a 21 year old then its too big of an age gap. However if you are older and matured I think the age gap is totally up to what ever you are comfortable with. I think it all comes down to maturity.

If I had to say I think 10 years, once you turn 21 or over. If you are under 21 I think no more than 3 years! Maturity is a big part of the age gap.

I dont feel there is really an age gap issue. It is totally up to you. And how you relate to each other. How mature the both of you are. However if you are only 18 -19 yrs old and dating a 35 yr old that is a problem. As a teen you are still vunerable. Older men tend to take advantage of this.

Anything in double digits is certainly too much of a gap. However for people under 18.....rules are different. As...only 2 year difference is acceptable.

no age gap is too big, as long as its legal. Age is just a number as long as you are both attracted to each other, physically and personality wise, then theres no problem

I really think its up to the individuals. If its okay with you, then who really cares about what others may think. I mean bigger age gaps can work with some people and not others.

It doenst matter as long as your both 18. If younger no more than 2 years difference. Personally I'm 19 and I'd never date someone older then 22 right now.
