Sorry, but being neither Christian nor Muslim, but rather believing in Peace, I was amazed by the Christian woman defending all the actions of the war by Bush including turture . It seems to me the "fanatical" fundamentalist Christians are not far behind strapping bombs to their bodies in order to whipe out the Muslisms. To think that any religion has the answer to it all, with so many people in the world believing so many different things is so sad to me. And to think that Jesus came down to earth to teach us anything other than to love one another is outrageous to me. And to think that God actually wrote the bible (come on, it was written by humans with a whole bunch of hearsay and story telling) and now we are going to have bible camps in which children are told to wage war(no matter how the lady likes to put it, war has a negative violent meaning)
Please, christians and non-christians, can anyone see what I am seeing. Does the bible not teach as well about turning the other chee

I left this forum for over a month because I was getting frustrated about this very thing. The peaceful message of Christ is lost to the modern Christian. Not all of them, but indeed most.

These fanatical Christians scare me. They are trying to take over our government and laws with their ''holier that thou'' viewpoints. Thank goodness Bush will be gone soon. But, I fear what else he will do before he is gone. It will take decades to right all his blundering mistakes and stupid ideas.

Jesus may have been a very good man, but, he was just a man. It offends me when they say he is G-d. G-d is One.

Some of what you say it from the NT. To me, this is not a part of the Holy Scriptures. But, I can let this go, if one does not push it on me as ''the only truth'', as these fundamentalists do.
