im 12, going on 13. We go through peer pressure for sex, we go through peer pressure for drugs . Im in a private school and I face this stuff. It has changed me and my friends were at the Library, and this guy came up to us and said are any of you virgins because if you are i'll break it for you.. we thought he was so lame and we found out later he got 2 girls in high school pregnant we hate this but we have to go through it. we also feel pressure to be things we aren't I feel pressure to dress like a total hoe but I know now that it isnt right even though I still do it. Pray for me to stop thanks and good luck with everything.

Teens have so much to deal with compared to many years ago.
The peer pressure to be part of the crowd thru bullying others or standing by and watching it. Taking part in smoking, drinking, sex. Plus getting good grades and dealing with teachers who have them for several hours a day and are themselves burned out. Often they are there just to put the time in and don't care about the individual students. A teen is often left to figure things out on their own. That is why it is imperative to keep the lines of communication open with your teen. Don't make Taboo any subject. If they are uncomfortable coming to you with the little things then they will not come to you when the important things arise. Be a part of your teens life in all ways and let them know that home is their haven and they are loved and accepted in all things. Especially when you might not like some things; as a parent you have to compromise and allow them to express their individuality as long as it doesn't harm them.
I wouldn't be a teen for all the money in the world.

Since I am a teen myself I can say that we go through a whole lot. School, friends, peer pressure, love, jealousy, grades, and that's not even it.

I would have to say peer pressure, fitting in, academic challenges, self esteem issues, boyfriends and maybe family problems.
