try Priscilla Cogans books " Winneona"s Web " the sequel
" Compass of my Heart " for two good fictional books on Native American practices and beliefs. there are several other stories such as " The Frontersmen " by A. Eckhart and others in his series.
" Sorrow of Our Heart " is a good book on Tecumseh. and another book " A woman of the People " is another good fictional book.
" Blood Brother " a fictional account of the relationship between Cochise and Tom Jeffords is another. obviously I tend to go with Native American than other types.

movies include GREY OWL, A MAN CALLED HORSE, RETURN OF A MAN CALLED HORSE LAST OF THE DOG MEN, WINTERHAWK, GREY EAGLE,
