You should feel guilty, your poor hamster is disabled now and has to walk with a limp. Now you go and gnaw off its other three legs to make it even again, and you can't ask any more questions until you do, young man.

No way should you feel guilty, have the vet fit it with a wooden leg. This problem is quite common. I overheard the following yesterday while waiting for a bus outside the Mathematical Institute.
Mathematician 1: Do you have any children?
Mathematician 2: Yes, I have three daughters.
Mathematician 1: And their ages are?
Mathematician 2: If you multiply their ages the result is 36.
Mathematician 1: Hmm, that’s not enough information
Mathematician 2: Well, if you sum their ages the result is the number of people here.
Mathematician 1: (Looks about) That’s still not enough information.
Mathematician 2: My oldest daughter has a pet hamster with a wooden leg.
Mathematician 1: Ahh, so are the two-year-olds identical twins?

ur questions has 2 parts to it, or perhaps more.
1st u want to know about absinthe and its benefits on u. well, i think its like with everything its good in moderation. 2nd part answers ur question-u had too much and ate hamsters rear left leg. so how does the hamster should feel, i don't think he would understand that u had too much absinthe when u did it, so now hamster is an invalid. he sure cant get public assistance ! well, and 3rd, on top of everything u feel guilty...that my friend will pass, but ur friend hamster probably thinks otherwise.
the moral of the story don't drink in presence of small live animals or poultry.

Ahhh yes Absinthe. I remember it well when I was in Okinawa. Mixed with some other stuff that I can't for the life of me remember the name makes a very tasty drink. Tastes like black licorice and rips you off your gourd.
The drink was called a Purple Haze.
Good stuff
Grape soda and Absinth over crushed ice. Thats it!

Van Gogh cut his own ear off when he allegedly was on the stuff so I don't think you got too much to worry about...
Antthing is good for you in small doses, so I'd stay off it for a few days for now....
As a Bar Manager I have to upsell the stuff and I've seen some punters in a hell of a mess after a few shots so with out sounding like I'm advocating alcoholism - KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

danger is it really is a tumor. My vet informed me that rodents are in reality tumor factories and for the reason that yours is already about 2 years previous(about they age they stay til), i'd imagine it really is a tumor. I only had to placed 2 dwarf hamsters down, a million as a results of a tumor through his leg that stopped him from walking, and the different as a results of a mind tumor. it really is totally problematic to lose those little adult adult males yet understanding that I helped them out of discomfort changed into an outstanding element. danger is even though it really is a tumor. i'm sorry to assert it. you would favor to take it to the vet although only to make certain.

are you laughing out loud right now?
The absinthe we know today is no longer made with the extracts of woodworm that caused insanity. So I don't know how much you had to drink but it sounds like an overexessive amount to me.

If it is the real stuff, then it depends upon whether you fancy cutting off your ear and doing some crap paintings. If not it can't be much worse than alcohol. Except if you're a hamster.
