I am not trying to make it melodramatic but bring to the point a fact that bar-code is an old technology that can be faked and hence you need a piece of tech equip to help you. The govts are trying to be of help and lets appreciate.

Sounds good. I really like the idea of having medical information ready, in case of emergency. That should save lives. Plus this could make identity theft much more difficult.
