Zorilla, actually I'm the mother of a teenager, and my daughter's friends like me better than their moms, but my daughter gets along better with their moms!

when i was a teenager i liked my friends mom better than my own.....i think it is a stage that all teenage girls go through because they always look to find something that their mom hasnt taught them.....i guess i was a little different though because my mom never paid very much attention to me my whole life.....when i was little she went to work and pushed me off in a daycare and then when i needed her the most when i was a teen she wasnt there.....now that i am married and have a daughter of my own i have learned from my moms mistakes and i will never do that to my daughter.....but that wasnt the question i still communicate better with my friends mom because she treated me like she was my real mom.......so if your daughter is saying she likes her friends mom better than you you need to find out why or maybe she is just jealous if you are paying more attention to her friend than her......remember teenage daughters crave alot of attention from their moms and they also get upset very easily

My mother! How old are you? You might just be passing thru a phase. After High School, my mother became my very best friend as I learned that everything she ever told me, warned me from and advised me about was all true. I wasted time hating her! I've been trying to make it up every since.

i cant stand my mom. and i dont have any friends but ive always wished my godmother was my mom. my godmother is actually my cousin. shes like a mother to me.

with my grandmother, in fact i not only call her "mom" but i refer to her as my mother. she's the one who raised me and took care of me so she's my mother. my biological mother just happens to be related to me like a cousin or whatever. i thank God for her for giving me life but that's it. oh, and for letting my grandmother raise me.
