Both are but there is a possibility that both have a different time to come around. Hugging could be used for pacifying or just thanking, or a start to a sensual get together. Whereas Kissing is is much more of a sensual message, not neccessarily leading to more but possibly more. You cant say one is important, both are there, its natural.

i think both are very important, a hug is something your friends give you, but when your lover gives you one, esp. out of the blue, it can say alot, you can just tell how much they love you - but i also thinking kissing is important, yes we all know what it can lead to but i think its very important to be able to just kiss for a few minutes without it leading to that, and if you think about it, the longer you are with someone the les kissing you do (i dont mean like hey pecks on the lips when u get home from work or go to bed) but actually making out w/your hubby/wife or long term significant other, they are both key aspects in a relationship to let ur other to know how you feel =)

Both are very important. But if i choose one, i will choose hugging. By hugging you can feel all the emotions. Yours and your partner. You feel so love, so secure, so beautiul, etc. You can also tell if your partner has a problem by the way she/he hugs you and for me hugging is my way of communicating with my husband. Hugging him and in the same way asking him how things at work, made him feel so relax and conversant about it. Just watching football or baseball while he is hugging you is so intimate already that will bring couples more closer.

There is nothing better than hugging and cuddling, especially as the years wear on in a marriage or relationship. The romantic moments are great, but there are more moments in life in need of a hug... for reassurance, just to be close to your spouse, cuddling while watching TV together, hugging to let them know it's going to be okay (when something bad happens), just to say I love you, for support, etc. Hugs convey much more meaning than kisses for a variety of situations.

both are important!! because both express love. hugging is more of an understanding and "i am there for you" kinda way to go if you are sad or just need someone to hold, while kissing is more of a " i love you" or " this is great" kind of way to express something! so both are important! you dont always have to kiss and all!!!!!!!

I think both are important, depending on your preference. But why not kiss while you hug, and hug while you kiss? =)

Hugging. Kissing is for in private, when both of you have good-smelling breath. Hugging is for all the time.

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.
