Fact is people are in just too big a hurry...if you really need to get somewhere...leave a little early....I usually drive a few mph over the speed limit but people pass me every day...but when we get too town most times I am right behind them at the next red light..

People have no patience or respect for other anymore. The only time I get irritated with slowpokes is if they fail to use the right-hand lane (for example, hogging the left lane) and if they fail to signal. Slow drivers are actually more dangerous on the roads than most speeders, but people need to have more patience when it's obvious that the slowpoke is lost, from out of town, or trying to locate an address. Be nice, people!

For whatever reasons they have - people get angry - heck i am one of them;
I was driving behind a very old man on Sunday, it was a one lane street, set a 40 mph and this man was driving at 25. I had places to be and left well in time to get there using set road speed limits and a sat nav, if I have to allow contingency for slow drivers I could end up being well over an hour early!!!
My issue is, if a road is set to a limit, people tend to drive to that limit and any speeders get a fine because it is dangerous, and in my mind (and many others), so is slow driving, unless of course they are learners and therefore inexperienced.
if people are looking for an office, or number, they should safely pull over every so often to take note of the number they are at on that particular road.

If someone can't safely maintain the speed limit, they don't belong on public roads. Why should one person's lack of confidence driving or inability to find what they're looking for slow EVERYONE else down?
Slowpokes are the reason for bad traffic. No matter how many people are on a road, traffic wouldn't be bad if everyone maintained a good speed. Unfortunately, there are also bad drivers who can't keep up and they disrupt everyone else.

I wonder how people define "slowpokes." In my opinion, driving the speed limit or up to 10 mph over it does not define me as a slowpoke, but I'm usually passed on both sides when I'm driving. But, the answer to your question is: people think that where THEY are going is more important than where ANYONE ELSE is going. It's all about "me me me."

because traveling slowly creates new dangers....lets say for example your behind a slowpoke, who is drivin below the speedlimit, and you both have driven around a sharp curve, so no oncoming cars can see you, the guy behind you, who you cant see and he cant see you, come around the curve at regular speed (which on average is 5-7 miles over the speed limit), and does not have time to stop before slamming into you, and causing a major accident.....just because the guy in front of you is a slowpoke

this is a good point. typically, though, i'm not really in a hurry, i just like to keep moving, you know? i'm one of those people that's never late. but, yeah, why can't people plan better? i used to work at a credit union and people would bring in their very large checks for deposit, that they obviously could have deposited 5 days prior, and expect the money to be immediately available to them. naturally, these large checks would be subject to a hold and the people would get mad at me because they had to pay their mortgage payment, or something, the next day. i just don't know what people think sometimes. or..why they don't think at all.

They should not be driving so slow in the road that can cause an accident. It seems like they have no where to go or things to do. I know I leave way early to go where I have to go but their is just some people that "should move get out my way"

i am guilty of getting angry but recently i started thinking about it more clearly.. if you overtake a 'slowpoke' in rush-hour traffic, the time you would be ahead of him no matter how far you manage to get ahead of him would be like maybe 2 minutes maximum. So whats the use of trying to fight. If youre late in the traffic, theres nothing that will make you get there faster.
