Kind of hard to dispute what is happening when you're watching it on Live TV... or even a recording... but I don't take that to mean ALL Muslims are like the people the media shows us. But, I do have a problem... Where are the Muslims who are speaking out against the Terrorists? Has anyone seen or heard them do this? I have only ever heard of one do it... and she is a Sufi (Which is another sect of Islam beliefs). I think I spelled that right.... I'm sure this will be a sect that the others will say "she's not a TRUE Muslim".
Kind of hard not to take a bad view of Islam when there is no one in Islam who is speaking out against the Terrorists. They either agree OR they are silent. If it were a group of Pagans doing this and other sects of Paganism were silent, everyone else would think the silent ones simply agree with what is happening.
If you believe something is wrong, shouldn't you speak out???????
And, really, I'm kind of tired of hearing people complain that the media is wrong about Islam, yet no one in Islam is Correcting that problem. All they do is point the finger at Christians AND Americans (contrary to what most Muslims believe, not all Americans are Christian... strange how they have their own generalizations of us as well, yet no one seems to want to correct them on this) and say how wrong we all are, that Islam is not like that... yet they don't tell us what Islam is supposed to be like by SHOWING us. They NEVER talk about the Terrorists, unless it's to point out how terroristic America is towards them. Then they claim they are peaceful, but just as soon as someone says something bad about them, they send death threats, kill a few people and then scream on TV about how America is the real Terrorist.....
If they can't fix the problem THEY have, then they need to find another solution instead of blaming everyone else for THEIR problem.

The media shows what suits them best and I would say 90% of the americans do believe in what the media shows them. If only we had the brains to THINK!!!

No I don't believe the media, It's just free cinema in my point of view.
I think they try for the Thriller genre seeing they only seem to report bad news as it does sell after all.

I am very distrustful of the media. It shows everyone in a bad light to up ratings.

I believe that there is both the good and the bad in the media. It is up to us to know which is which, and that isn't always easy.

I don't believe in media. Read about the same thing in three different magazines, with different agendas, and you will get three different versions.
