Islam is a peaceful,beautiful and loving religion i'm blessed to be born into Islam and to be a Muslim.

I know that Islam is a way of life and its about peace. the word Islam literally means peace.
Islam is not about terrorism, because killing of innocent civillians is forbidden. and also sucide is forbidden too. so people who kill other people, in the name of God, are actually just going against the teachings of Islam.
Islam does not treat women like property because thats forbidden. Islam gives equal right to women, that doesn't mean that women can do everything that men can do and vice versa.
This is because islam recognises that male and female don't have the same biological bodies, so its against nature for them to do everthing the same, look at animals for example, the female and the male have different responsibilities.
I urge people to judge the religion of Islam by studying from the scriptures of Islam, instead of Judgeing Islam, by its followers.

Islam is the final of all religions. God sent different books at different times based on the situation and the people at that time. Everytime someone would go astray, God would send a book and a prophet to set them straight. At the end of it all he sent the Quran. The Quran recognizes all the prophets that came before it and all the books that came before it. The basic teaching of Islam is that there is only ONE God and Muhammad (PBUH) is the last prophet. The Quran is the only book that has NOT been altered by man. The reason God kept sending these books is because manking was altering His message everytime. The Bible also has the same message and the original text of the Bible denies that Jesus is the son of God...that is all man made.
Islam is the only religion that gives women the utmost respect...so much so that an early scholar once stated that "...if I didnt know better, I would think the Quran was written by a woman.." because it gives women so many rights,

I studied islam for two years and have many muslim friends, although i myself am not islamic i can give you an unbias view on things around the subject. what would you like to know??

Only what I've been to exposed to from the media, books I have read, and several friendships with muslims. Never fully read their holy books.
Modest, sincere, big-hearted people who believe in themselves and aren't afraid to show it.
I'm more interested in sufism though.

Islam is a religion of hate, a false religion that tells Muslims to kill all infidels.
Muslims strap bombs on their children and send them out to kill their enemies.
And Muslims will stone a rape victim to death while allowing the rapist to go free, so they are sexist.

Honestly, not very much. I understand that they treat their women like property. That is enough reason for me to disagree with the teachings.
