All of the things you've sited play more into natural selection rather than evolution.Obviously similar in nature but not the same.The theory that mankind is self destructive definitely holds water.To further reinforce that theory many of the things you've sited indeed destroy even the strongest of humans.Great minds like Poe were addicted to drugs and wars kill many of the strongest among us while weeding out the weak as well.Therefore,natural selection would suggest the overall destruction of the species over time.There are probably a great many conspiracy theories around to suggest what you've said.Thinning the population would most likely make the Earth a better place for all animals including humans.Scary thing to think about,as are many of your questions.

There IS a scarcity of resources. Arable land is the big one. Why do you think Turks and Armenians, Serbs and Coats, Protestant Irish and Catholic Irish can get along in the USA and not in their home countries? Out here they can all (or did all) steal 160 acres from the Indians. Back home there were 8 people trying to scratch a living out of 4 acres and a goat.
If there were just 10,000 Jews and 10,000 Muslims in Israel, do you think they would be at each others throats?

This question doesn't really have anything to do with evolution. evolution explains how species developed physically. This is more of a cultural anthropology question. But yes, in many cases in history, when resources are scarce, fighting can break out. I'm don't completely understand what you are talking about with alcohol, drugs, etc. Sorry.

There have been many cases where the strong have deprived the weak of essential materials. It is going on today. It isn't a biological process. It is simply sin.

evolution has nothing to do with this in a real sense. when resources are scarce or a weaker culture and society has something the stronger culture and society wants the stronger culture and society will take what they want from the weaker.
