Of course you can! I love all my friends - their are many meanings to the word love, but I suspect you are saying that some you actually adore and love can be friends, I have a special friend who I love and yes she is one of my closest friends!

yeah, but wouldn't you rather be boyfriend/girlfriend rather than "just friends".
If you love someone then you'll want to spend time with the other person, which is obvious. However it gets tough when you want to express the feeling in terms of physical relationship and romantic things. And if the other peorson doesn't feel the same way then you might end up destroying a good friendship. You'll have to take the risk sometime.
You can either continue being friends but hide your feelings (the desire to express them as you wish) or you ask them out and risk losing them (but might end up gaining what you want, which can be exciting thing)

so to answer your question: yes, you can be friends with someone you love, but you'll have to hold your feeling in...

It's torture if you do manage it!
But you never know, she might be feeling the exact same way!
You won't know unless you tell her! And if you're really good friends, then you will be able to still be friends.... it shouldn't matter.
It's up to you, carry on the torture.... or take the risk and tell her (if you're really close though, it shouldn't matter)

love them in which way, if you mean in love with them then keep friendship to a minimal cos you are just torturring yourself being around them all the time if they dont feel the same way.
