Just how much affection are we talking about?

Thats a really good question, I'll have to be bias. No,women can mistake this affection for love or just plain out lust. If you value your friendship you wouldnt' put these females in this predictement. Yes, it gives women a sense of feeling that they are wanted even with they feel they are not accepted by society. There male friend still finds her attractive. So you need to make a decision on how you want your female friends to feel about you;)

Yes!

My boyfirend is very affectionate towards his female friends - always has a hug and a kiss for them. But then he hugs his male friends too.

I think you need to stop being hung up on what gender your friends are and just show them how much you care about them.

In a caring about others sense, yes, but, besides that, really you shouldn't. Female friends, who are just friends, aren't there as toys for you, or a distraction, they're there for you to be friends with. Showing affection to another female, while your already with someone, is wrong on many levels, lol. Like that little phrase, Don't hate the player, hate the game. Females aren't game, there's just players, and you have every right to hate them.

The answer is Yes you can be affectionate. You can put your arm around her, you can give an affectionate kiss on her face and give her hugs. You can also buy and give her flowers or give her a box of her favorite candy.

My hubby and I both have friends of the opposite sex. When we visit his friend Dee, he always gives here a hug, sometimes even a kiss goodbye. They are like family. It doesn't bother me a bit. Friends are friends. I am confident in our relationship, and trust me I would know if something else was going on. There should be no reason why a hug or kiss on the cheek should not be okay.

I feel that is a BIG question. My boyfriend has alot of female friends and is affentionate with them which doesn't sit right with me i see no reason as to why he should show affection to anyone else but me. I feel sick whenever he talks to them over the phone or in person. I think it really depends as to what kind of relationship the b/f and g/f have.

There is a fine line between being friendly with a friend or flirting and coming on to them. Giving a hug when you meet, yes. French kissing or touching body parts, heck no.

Yes. They just need to be respectful of the female's response to the affection. Take your cue from your female friend's reaction and response to your affection.

It all depends on the situation like how long have you been friends? how comfortable you are with each other? would you kiss her if your girlfriend was around or would you only kiss her if your girlfriend was around to make your girlfriend jealous? its a tough one but i would say keep your space unless you either want to loose a friend or give false hope.
