I think Magog represents the invading army against Israel, with the leader being Gog. Some think this to be the former USSR.

Magog is supposed to be Russia. Many years ago Russia had pencils made up with Gog of Magog written on them. I don't know if it was the government or a private entity. None the less they came from Russia.

Magog is a name, the son of Japheth, there is also a land Magog, usually referred to as Gog and Magog., Not sure why Bush chose it.

You find Magog & Gog in Ezekial & Revelation, Gog is the people of Russia & Magog is the leadership of Russia that comes out of Moscow.
