Take one litre of boiling water, add 20 grams of salt in it, stir, dip a handkerchief in it and use the handkerchief to scrub away the blood! Always works!

First of all, try to get to the stain before it dries. Blot up as much of the blood that you can with a paper towel. I usually use hydrogen peroxide. Test a small area of the couch that nobody will see to make sure that it will not discolor your couch. Once you've established that the peroxide won't cause any discoloration, apply a small amount to the stain and blot up with another clean, dry paper towel. Repeat until the stain is gone. Just remember to blot the stain, not scrub or else you could spread the stain around and make the spot bigger.

first try not to let the stain dry.
pour water (luke warm) onto the stain and then sponge it out.
you may have to do this process five times or more.
(club soda could also be used, tide stick, other commercial cleaners.)
Remember to put towels around stain to absorb excess water.
