You should tell them you sold the items mentioned. Mere dislike of a person is not a good enough reason to not put them up when they visit.

Ooooo, you bad girl. It's wrong that you sold her stuff without due notification. You should've given her a time limit. But since you didn't, she's under the assumption they're still there. In a way, this is theft. I wouldn't give her 'all' of the money back, but I would repay her at least two-thirds of the sale.
I wouldn't have a problem with the BF visiting, as long as said visit is short and he behaves himself. Otherwise no.

Unfortunately, she can sue you in this instance. In order to sell someone's property there has to be at least a year to show abandonment. Also, you must prove that you contacted her and gave her an opportunity to recover her items. In this instance you would now owe her all of the money that you got for the sale of her property. The court views this as theft of property.
I told you in another question to cease contact with her but according to this question she actually has a point.
Your husband has the right not to want another male in his home. If she were bringing a husband that would be different. Just tell her that your husband doesn't want another man in the house staying over night and leave it at that. You don't need to qualify it. However , she will eventually ask for her things and when she does ; she will find out. Either way you will owe her.

It isn't worth it. Tell her this is not a good time. If you do want to visit with her, find a way to do that outside getting the whole group together. Go see her, but having them in your house will only create trouble.

You should give her the money for the things you sold.
If you don't want them in your house, offer to pay for a motel room. However, if the only reason she's coming is to get her stuff, tell her you sold it, send her the money, and you won't see her.

I would tell her that you've sold her equipment and you can send her a check in the post. I'd tell her that you are not comfortbale with her boyfriend visiting and that is that. I have a sponger cousin too and giving in to her actually weakens our family bonds instead of strengthening them. I agree with William Shakespeare who said "Love thy family but live not near them".
