Years ago, a friends mother-in -aw died. So in the following 3 weeks or so the family put food in there in case the dead one was hungry. Another time they burned paper money because she would need it. I don't remember the rest.
What faith is this?

Thanks

Oriental belief system. although in Ancient Times many peoples practiced this form of burial. Egyptians have many things placed in their tombs, the Native Americans, English, Welsh, Irish, Africans, etc. had their own versions. there are some of us today who honor the Ancient Ways by burying certain things with our departed loved ones. as an example when my wife died she was buried with a joke book and a few of her favorite stuffed animals along with certain religious and other items.

Never seen before.

But in Chinese belief, they burn things and money to give dead ones.

By the way, how do they use money and car in after life? Is there any road? Is there any shop? It's ridiculous.
