No of course not...on Long Island there is a large group of illegal Irish. But it all goes back not to immigration, but integration...I truly believe there would be no problem with illegals in this country if the Mexicans actively went after their American citizenship and culture. If you decide to move here, move on...learn English, shop at K-mart, become American...if you don't want to integrate, stay where you are and celebrate being Mexican. We are all immigrants in this country, some of us realize we have to give up somethings (such as our diverse languages, etc) to become Americans. Why do you think most Asian immigrants excel in American? They integrate. Our Mexican - American friends should learn by their example.
We need them. But only if they are willing to prove they want to become part of THIS country, not create a new one.

No, Mexicans aren't the only illegals, however they are they are the MAJORITY of illegals. I can understand why they want to come here and I can sympathize with their plight, however there are laws that govern immigration into the US.
As for your views on sharing wealth, this is the basis upon which Communism and Socialism stand. Quite frankly, it is a system that attempts to set everyone on an equaly prosperous level, no matter how hard they work. As a consequence, those who would normally work hard and shine as the best and most brilliant, aren't awarded anything more than some lazy bum that does absolutely nothing. The result is that everyone realizes this, and nobody is motivated to do any more than they have to. Hence the reason why Communism fails.

There are many nationalities that have immigrated here both legally and illegally. Perhaps we should do a better job in our hiring practices. We need to also accept the fact the we must be able to do all the tasks that our society demands and not think that any particular job is below us. Hence the jobs that Illegals fill. Go to any High School and see what they say about career development and the future of the population. Should we all be Doctors, Lawyers, and Senators? Do we all deserve to be the CEO just because we were born here?
Another thought on this is that where is the incentive? Why go to school if the government and the Union will protect our way of life and income. Should we proceed the way of the Roman Empire that collapsed more from within than from outside factors? This makes me too upset to go on.

Will you open your bank account to strangers use?
Will you give strangers free access to all you own?
Will you open your home to millions of people that have only one interest and that is to take all you have while only giving a small amount back? well I wont and its ludicrous to think we should do that with our country.
No not all illegals are from one country, but over half are.they are from the Mexican side of the border and 99% Hispanic.who should we be biased against a hand full from some little country thousands of miles away.We protest what affect us most in a direct manner. In Arizona our problem is from the people coming across the southern border. The border patrol captures 99% Mexican illegals and 1% from other Latin and other countries.Draw your own conclusions as to why Americans say Mexicans.

No, of course they are not the only illegals in the USA. They are however one of the largest groups of illegals which is why they are getting all the attention at this point. Canada doesn't want to share our wealth...and we don't ask to share theirs...Does Russia share with China? Does France share with Spain? Why do we always have to be the suckers of the group? Or maybe the questions should be why don't we grow more of a backbone?

In me being section Irish provides me no certain precise to dismiss Irish immigration guidelines. P.S. It has no longer something to do along with your historic previous,,,,, its the way you go back the following that counts. anybody has the right to fill out immigration archives, whats incorrect with that? As an american, i visit in worry-free words say that the clarification i do no longer sit down in an american detention middle, is because I obide through the yankee regulation. i visit't destroy out with driving illegally , so why do you have to be allowed to enter illegally? easy as that! i'm no longer exempt if I tell a policeman that i'm driving illegally, and neither are those who enter illegally.

It doesn’t matter where you live or where you go there are bound to be illegal immigrants everywhere in the world you will just have to put up with the situation and get on with your life, share your wealth if you show wish, but most people think of them as a waist of space and recourses. I think the only reasonable thing to do is live and let live.

No they aren't and no one I've seen here has been biased. IF you'd really care to READ the answers you'd find we all say one word that most REFUSE to use......ILLEGAL.
Why do you feel that the wealth of American needs to be shared with anyone?? Is there some thing wrong with them obtaining their own wealth?? Sharing would be a denial of a persons right to transcend or live apart from their birth condition.

People will always be attracted to countries with better opportunities. Historically your forefathers got to the US for probably the same reasons! Mexicans appear to be the "only illegals" because of the geographical proximity to the US hence the larger number and the ease to be "illegal" If you look hard enough, I am sure there are other groups e.g Chinese, Africans, Indians, Phillipinos etc, etc.

I know of a couple of white english speaking people who are in the country illegally and who have made good livings. There is bias against Mexicans because of cultural differences, language difference, and of course skin color. Mexicans are very fine people for the most part, honest and hard working, decent, family loving people, prejudice against them is groundless and wrong. Share the wealth? No, but helping Mexico develop its own economy and control its population growth so its people can make good livings at home would be a smart thing for the US to do if its so concerned with illegal immigration.
