No, it's not illegal. They are, after all, stopping traffic to allow people to cross. Lollypop people aren't just there for children, they're there so that the crossing becomes temporarily 'manned'. This then allows safe crossing for anyone wishing to cross.

If you're coming at this from a driver's point of view - don't be so impatient. There's really nothing that important to rush for - and the person you may hit on a crossing is going to be dead for a very long time.

they are not just there for children they are there for the use of everyone during "rush" hour to make the roads safer for all people who need to cross busy roads

lolipop people are a real nightmare.
they have no road sence and should all go on a special course.

once thet got the uniform it goes to there heads.
