Remember this life is a test for us that is why God created everything for us to discover and make use of it. Everything God created has some importance and meaning and if we dont believe in his creations then we would lose faith in him and would fail in his test. Allah will be examining us through lots of thicks and thins. Try discovoering him.

Well, a poll recently put 92% of americans are at least agnostic. Things are easier if you believe as everyone else does. My current seems to flow a different way... I beleive that for the same reason that a god can exist, so can the universe.

Easy - We shouldn't. Some people are happier believeing in god, but it's kind of futile because god doesn't exist. I'm going to live life for me and my family and other people, not a fictitious guy in the sky.

Its a quite difficult and controversial question. But lemme try to answer in my own way.
If I ask you "do you believe in ur grand father's grand father, I hope U would say "Why not". And If I ask how do u believe, U would say because from that chain my father and I m here, though you have not seen ur grandfather's grandfather right? But u believe that due to them u r here. So, I believe in GOD because I see so many beautiful creations around me including me and when I try to trace the chain of this creation I reach to GOD, though I have not seen him. But I do believe in GOD as supreme consciousness as I believe in my fore fathers. God bless you.

Hi!
I am a born-again Christian...I will show why, without using the bible:
1.Nothing can come out of no where:
Most unbeliever scientists, intelligent as they are, have never been able to create something out of nothing. All scientific designs come from something created e.g. cell phones, computers, cloning etc.If they refuse to accept the possibility of God, they should then explain where ALL MATERIAL come from.
Human beings are the most intelligent beings, we must agree on this one BUT they, intelligent as they are, could not figure out some things for 100's of years e.g.
they imagined that the earth is FLAT, they did not know about hormones in a human being, they did not know about the spermatozoid cells fusing with the egg of a woman to make a baby etc.
So all these things took us years to discover...
THEREFORE IF WE ARE THE MOST INTELLIGENT CREATURES ON EARTH AND WE TOOK SO MUCH TIME TO DISCOVER CERTAIN TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE, IT MUST BE THAT THERE IS SOMEONE WHO IS WISER THAN US WHO IS BEHIND THE INTELLIGENCE IN ALL THE THINGS THAT EARTH LIFE SHOWS.
Please think on this sentence I wrote in capital letters. Life, matter and its systems are too complex for us to say THERE IS NO GOD. Think of the different behaviors of animals that naturally do things without being taught.
I am convinced that if atheists were to watch Discovery Channel searching for the possibility that there is God, they would soon be converted to be born-again Christians.
Life did not start out simple and evolve into more complex and diverse animals; it was complex and diverse right at the beginning...
Someone might ague that "computers started out simple" and became more complex as time went on. If this is true, it is so because AN INTELLIGENT PERSON(man i.e. computer programmers and designers) was behind that. Someone (in this case man) had to have been there to continue working on computers....
Now it is sensible to agree that amazing complexity of earth and its life forms must have been created...It is pretty dum to think that all these come from a lifeless "rock" or "soap". Surely there is a God who is wiser than us.
Think of the position of earth in the universe...it is positioned to allow life to be formed...Do you want think that this is a coincidental happening? Why earth? Why not other planets?
2. Why believe in the God of Christianity:
How can we know if the God in the bible is the TRUE GOD?
1. His Words in the BIBLE have proven to be true.True Scientific discoveries point towards the bible as being TRUE:
-We all know that DRY LAND on earth was ONE MASS LAND...if you look at the shape of the CONTINENTS, they all fit to Africa...this means the earth was at first ONE MASS DRY LAND...Now check what the GOD of the bible said He did...mind you this was written way before it was even discovered that we have different continents:
Genesis 1:9 "And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.
2. History alone points towards Jesus Christ as someone who existed and did something remarkable:
-Proof: We all know that, not long ago, historians dated their events using ABBRIVIATIONS "A.D." and "B.C"....they mean After the Death of Christ and BC, Before the birth of Christ...If there were no Christ, in the first place historians would NOT have chosen to use these abbreviations to date the events of history.
3. People are being healed of cancer, AIDS, and other deseases in the NAME of Jesus Christ...If this God were not True, people would not receive healing.(But mind you Satan can also do miracles)

those who believe will believe and those who do not believe will not believe. we all have the freedom to believe or not as one decides for themselves. all I have to do is look out my window to observe the glories of nature on the earth and sky to believe. everyone can see the effects of the wind but no one ever has seen the wind but all know the wind exists. the same is true with GOD. even though one can not see HIM, HE exists nevertheless.

if you denie the existence of god you denie the spirit of god and by doing that you cut yourself off from the spirit of god, and thus you are simply another animal.but all liveing things god created have souls. but if you ask the spirit of god into your life, then the spirit will be able to work thru your soul, and if you ask questions of the spirit it will answer you and you will be guided by the spirit, and you will grow and change and truely realize your self as being an eternal soul. but it is your choice you have a free will
