According to rabbinic sources, in the time when Jesus was on earth three trumpet blasts at about the ninth hour, or three o’clock, on Friday afternoon announced the Sabbath day’s approach. At this, all work and business were to cease, the Sabbath lamp was lit, and festive garments were put on. Then three more blasts indicated that Sabbath had actually begun. So the Sabbath day began at sundown Friday and lasted until sundown Saturday.
“The pagan Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence. The recognition of Sunday (the day of Phœbus and Mithras) as the day of rest was intoduced by the emperor Constantine.

The Sabbath is Saturday for the Jews and some Christians. I have Sabbath's on different days due to my work schedule. Sunday is a real Cristian thing to do because.1. Jesus rose on the first day (Sunday) of the week. 2. The apostles met on Sunday for prayer and worship. There is a lot of debate between the Seventh-Day-Adventist and other Christian Denominations. I will not get into that here. I just answered the question.

GOD bless ya.

Actually, yes. I am a baptist, but I believe that the Sabbath is Saturday. The seven days of the week are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 7. Saturday.
Baptist go to church on Sunday because that is the day that Jesus was resurrected. He was crucified on Fri. and rose on Sun.

No, Catholics did not change the Sabbath.

The Sabbath is from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. The Catholic Church did not change the Sabbath; it merely claims to overturn God's command that we rest on that day.

The Catholic Church still defines the Sabbath the same as the Word of God, the Bible -- the seventh day of the week -- but it insists that they have the authority to overrule God's laws.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:
“Sunday is expressly distinguished from the Sabbath which it follows chronologically every week”. (Entry #2175)

It was in the Council of Laodicea that they ruled:
"Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ." (Canon XXIX)

Emporer Constantine (who was the real first pope of the Catholic Church), was a sun worshipper, and persisted in unifying the Christian doctrines. And it was he who insisted on making Sunday the universal Christian day of worship.

But Jesus said, "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:18-19)

And since all is not yet fulfilled, nor has heaven and earth passed away, the Sabbath law is still valid. (The Catholics have got some serious explaining to do.)

And elsewhere in the New Testament it is stated, "A Sabbath rest remains, therefore, for God's people." (Heb 4:9, The Holman Christian Standard Bible)

God rested on the 7th day. And Roman Emporer Constantine
had the sabbath changed to be more agreeable with the Roman
worship day of SUNday.
Jesus said the sabbath was made for man. A day of rest,
because man will work you to death. Put you in a hole. And work
the next man to death. So which day to worship is debatable.
I would prefer that people get the pagan "christ"mas tree out
of the churches. It is an ancient phallic symbol, symbolizing
male sexual potency. Jeremiah 10 KJV.
Look at all those ROUND things hanging on them, and consider
what they represent?

Yes, the Sabbath is Saturday. Jews have observed it since pre-Christian times. But the Apostles chose Sunday, the day of our Lord and Savior's glorious Resurrection from the dead, as the Christian day of worship.

Saturday since Sunday is the first day of the week. (In parts of the world the first day is Monday, then Sunday becomes the seventh day.)

I found this;
"Numerous mentions in the New Testament show that Christ-followers began to honor the first day of the week, Sunday, in observation of the resurrection. So we see that the Sabbath was changed from the seventh day of the week to the first day because of Christ's resurrection. It is a celebration of the new covenant in Christ Jesus."

If you are wanting to know what is written concerning observing of thee sabbath and not man's traditional observance (man's disobedience), then that will be the 7th day which according to any dictionary will tell you that Saturday is the seventh day of the week.

For the proof and the whole Truth go to this website and read!

Heb 4:3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;" although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, "Yahweh rested on the seventh day from all his works;"
5 and in this place again, "They will not enter into my rest."
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter therein, and they to whom the news was before preached failed to enter in because of DISOBEDIENCE!!!,
9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of Yahweh
10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as Yahweh did from his.
11 Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of DISOBEDIENCE!!!

See, it's disobedience that man does not keep the sabbath like commanded.

It's true Sabbath is saturday...

But it was changed to sunday because :
1) Sunday is the first day of the week while saturday is the last day... which means you have to begin your week with God...
2) Jesus was raised on sunday which means that we were transfered from death to life on sunday..

Days are nothing... the most important thing os to live your life with God...
Please... Seventh-Day Adventist have many incorrect beliefs.. try to search for the true beliefs in any other church...
