why do females talk more than guys?

The male and female brains are wired differently, period. All brains start out as female in the womb, but at 8 weeks a boy's brain is washed with testosterone. This flood kills brain cells in some regions, like communication, and grows others, like sex and aggression. By three months of age, a girl looks at her mother for visual cues 20 times more than a boy. During adolescence the female brain is washed in estrogen, leading to more emotional outbursts and depression, which explains why teen girls are such "drama queens." The boys' brain gets another dose of testosterone which promotes a surge in competition and sex drive. Consequently women seek communication and consensus, while men are more inclined to go for one-upmanship. It's no one's fault; we are more the products of our genes and hormones than we think.

I wonder why too.. Guys preferred to talk to their friends, rather than their partner in life.
It happens wiv my ex. When we're together, he never talk about how he felt. He'll juz keep quiet for few weeks or months and not saying anything. And this happens for months n number of times. Till one day when i figure out it's enough, i suggested breaking up.
And now, after we broke up, he talks non-stop. We chatted everyday and he regards me as one his BEST FRIEND!! Wonder where is the old guy that i know b4?
Conclusion, they do express and talk as much as women. But it is only to their Friends. Never to their gf, wives or partner.

females talk much because to express their feelings....but that opposite for guys...they less talk but they have more thought in their mind.........they just want to keep their feelings in heart and just too shy to talk or else their thoughts will not less than females.

Yes! Women are way more into their feelings than men, it is so annoting too. We over analyze the things they do or say and I hate it. I truely wish I could be like a man and not be so sensitive about things.

I think most guys would rather figure things out on their own and then tell you about it after the problem is fixed, when its a success story. women usually want to hear ppl's opinions first, and then figure it out for themselves taking into acct the other opinions.

Guys are more into expressing their feelings through action than words.
That is why their more into the phrase "Action speaks louder than words". By nature their of few words but more actions.
