it's an interesting persective. people are assuming you mean apes or cavement, but they could have been like supersapiens or something, right? after all, back then people lived to be like 500 years old and stuff.

Some say Eden/Paradise, was actually in Heaven/Paradise.
The human form having been around a lot longer and begun
on a higher level.
Since there is a lineage in the Book traced back to Adam and Eve. And science says there is a "missing link" to the theory of
evolution. A "skip" in the natural progression as far as physical evidence. I sometimes wonder if our Higher Power gave humans
a BOOST at some point. From the dull-witted caveman, to
a more intelligent human, that could better deal with the
material world, and have the intelligence to find an escape
from this world on a spiritual level.
However, I wonder if we didn't lose something on a psychic
level?

Genesis 1:26-27 states "Let us make man in our image, after our likness; and let them have dominion over the fish of teh sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all th eearth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the eart. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female He created them."
The words rendered "man" in these verses are the Hebrew word "adam", pronounced "aw-daam", meaning "man, mankind, red or ruddy person", and "ish", meaning "man, male". The female was "ish-ah", or "from the male".
(There is actually a running joke in Christian circles with the translations of "male" and "female". Since male is "ish" and female is "ish-ah", it is evident that Man looked at woman and said the equivelant of "whoooo! man!")
Since the Biblical record shows genealogies of human beings traced from "Adam" and "Eve", down to the author of the book (Moses), it is safe to assume that the beings mentioned in Genesis 1 were actually human stock.

jmdanial. Genesis 1:27 is before God created Adam and Eve.
I think it's clear that they are human, and that God had created other humans before them. All according to the bible.

i personally beleive that Adam & eve were not humans..... it could have been assumed they were .... because we view intelligent life to just look like us..... everything that is flesh and bones has to be alive....... what we dont see is that everything is life...... the bread you eat... is your future flesh..... it is just changing form in space and time..... the wine you drink is your future blood......adam and eve .... might have more been just conciousness........without flesh and bones........... its like we living without about bodys....
