May be some people. But all can not. Actually our consciousness is evoluting to higher level. So, these past do not hold importance. Think of future.

Can't remember what is not there. All this hypno-regression is a crock. I remember seeing a commentary about hypno-regression, in this case about alien abduction, and they had several scholars mention how hypno-regression has more of a tendency to plant memories than to retrieve them.

No, because there's no such thing. This life is the only chance we have. It would be to easy to be other way. Think about the moral consequences of reincarnation. Everything would be permitted, because we would repent in other life.
