I've had them for a number of years, and have recently "re-discovered" them. They're in good condition, but slightly worn from use. How would I make them look new again? Should they be oiled? Is there some kind of finish that can be applied?

fishtwat, thanks for such a great answer...maybe you should soak your head in gasoline for 30 days! Seems that you must have a great personality!

don't let them sit in dish water, don't put them in the dish washer, after washing them, dry them soon after and oil them down with cooking oil. if they dry out , they will crack. there should be no type of finish except natural

Put some veg oil on them, let it soak in for a couple of minutes and then wipe off with a paper towel.
That's all.
Don't wash with soap, as the wood absorbs the soap, only rinse with hot water.

don't ever immerse them in water. wipe with a dampp cloth. If neccessary use a little detergent to get rid to the grease and then wipe with a damp cloth utnil you've removed all signs ot the detergent. I rub olive oil in mine and they look lovely.
