Does anyone know where I can get some good reading material in Ladino? Possibly bibles or dictionaries in the language. Even a grammar book would be nice. If not? Do you speak it so I can practice with you? anything would help thanks! serious comments only please.

Its actually a language spoken by Sephardic jews who were expelled from Spain in 1490's during Queen Isabella's inquisition, It is an ancient Spanish mostly written in hebrew characters phonetically. It was spoken by the sephardic jews for centuries up until today. Few still speak it but it is thougth about 100,000 people still speak it today. It is quite interesting, but hard to find information on.

I do not know, but I have a cd of songs performed by Maria Krupoves. Some are performed in Ladino: Gulpembe (Ladino-Turkish), Durme, durme (Ladino). I think she learned all these ethnic songs from native speakers. http://www.goldenland.com/krupoves.htm

Almost no one speaks Ladino anymore. I think that some people might speak it in Turkey. You'll find it among elderly olim in some Sphardic communities in Isreal, but their children are speaking Hebrew. It's in serious danger of dying out.
