Every time I apply mascara I seem to have more on my eyelids than lashes.
I know some of it it's probably down to my technique hehe but I've been told by loads of people that the mascara I use (Maybelline's "great lash" - the pink and green one!) is really messy.
All I want is a (cheapish) black mascara, non-waterproof, that goes on smoothly, separates a bit and all the normal stuff, and that would NOT require me to spend 5minutes with a cottonbud wiping it off my eyelids when I'm done!!!
Any suggestions? Thanks xxx

Max Factor 2000 Calorie. I am a big fan of expensive makeup but no matter how many mascaras I have tried from the leading brands, none can beat this one. It's an excellent thickening, lengthening and generally lash-boosting all rounder and stays put all day without smudging. It's got a lovely thick wand compared to others, which makes it easy to control when applying too. Despite its brilliant staying power, it slides straight off when you're removing it and will only cost you around £7. People have even asked me if I am wearing false lashes when I've got this on. Try it!

o.ok.i imagine you want to get a extra perfect Mascara Like .. Maybelline , Or cover female ... and that i imagine the fairly some the challenge is the comb length .... you could bypass with a smaller brush and attempt that :) Use the eyelash roller and it's going to make it no longer that clumpy ... previous mascara regularly makes a large clump around the right of the mascara the position you close up it at :) wish this helped somewhat :))

Hi, Deezie here. Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara, the formula with the straight not curved brush, is by far the best mascara. Be certain you don't purchase the waterproof. I know you'll love it. It's at home in my cosmetics drawer alongside chanel, dior, and lancome. been using it for years now.

Yes! You are right! Avoid Maybelline mascara!
Try Max Factor, the waterproof one : more expensive but saves money on throwing all the rubbish ones away!Is navy tube with gold trim,in Boots.
Use make-up cotton buds to precisely remove overspill immediately.

The best Mascara to use is BeneFit's Bad Lash mascara. I have used it and it is great. I know of some cheap places to get it as well!

Cover Girl Lash Exact or Max Factor Lash Perfection. Very clean, no clumps.
You're right, the Great Lash is crappy...a lot of people still buy it though!

I would recommend any of Max Factors mascara's. I used to have the same problem with the Maybelline one.

Everyone saying Max Factor but I have tried it and wasnt a huge fan! I think Loreal does a really good Mascara and they are always a reasonable price. The new telescopic lengths one is great.

I have exactly the same problem as you - the only mascara where i dont get it all over my lids is maxfactors masterpiece - i think its fantastic, great definition but subtle enough to wear every day without looking too made up.
