First of all don't worry that your baby is breech because he still has time to turn the right way around!!! I don't think that they are contractions but maybe you should go and see your doctor just to make sure!

People do have Braxton Hicks contractions, but there's a chance the baby is just moving "funny".
You should ask your doctor about this if you haven't, and if you have and were told it isn't anything then just try not to think much about it. It probably isn't wise to be thinking up what is getting pushed or smooshed by what else - too creepy to think about, and there's a chance you're not even correct about what something feels like.
My baby was born breech at 34/35 weeks. Nobody knew he was breech until he was born. He was a little guy, so maybe that helped; but the delivery was quick and not a big deal.
My other baby settled down low about three months before she was due, and there was plenty of low discomfort and bladder-squeezing and achiness for that whole last part of the pregnancy.
She was fine. Her delivery was fine. All was fine - but, boy, was that an uncomfortable few months for me. My point is that kind of stuff goes on - the achy low stuff, the smooshed bladder, the breech delivery, or whatever else.
Most mothers have some such story to tell. Relax unless your doctor tells you otherwise. There's plenty of time for the baby to turn in the next ten or so weeks, and if it doesn't your doctor will know how to deal with it.
I once read that premature babies who are breech should be delivered by Cesarean section, but there wasn't time with my son. I entered the hospital around 2:30 in the afternoon, asked the woman sigining me in if I had time to get get a cup of tea at the coffee shop, and she said, "You had better just go upstairs." So after spending whatever time at the desk I headed on up. By now it was close to 3:00. I felt pretty decent. By 3:30 I was in transition, and he was born at 5:00 on the dot. His delivery, to me, was like a tiny blip on my screen of life!! It was nothing.
I can't promise you if your baby doesn't turn the delivery will be like that for you, but my answer is honest; and I can tell you that having a breech baby doesn't always have to mean any big problems. (Because he was born early and upside-down and so quickly I watched him carefully for any signs of brain damage over the first year - but he reached all his milestones and more far earlier than most babies - so all has turned out really well.)
Be delighted you're feeling the baby move. The son I mentioned above barely moved, and THAT was the thing that made me almost insane throughout the pregnancy.

Chances are they are braxton hicks contractions which can feel very much like real contractions. I know it is scary to hear the word breech but the baby can move out of that position right before actually birth and the doctors can try to make baby move. Babies can sit in an akward position in a non breech position so i can imagine that it is true for breech presentation also. So try not to worry to much. baby is probrabl pushing on muscles and other organs and with braxton hicks both together can be scary. hope all goes well take care. hope i heleped even a little.

Of course your breeched. Your only 29 weeks. The baby has plenty of time to move around.
You could be feeling braxton hicks contractions. You will know if they are real contractions. Trust me on this one. You won't be able to walk or talk. I could only lay on my side during the early stages of my contractions. Your entire belly will harden.
The baby is getting bigger and has very little room left to move around in. The only place left for him to go is your bladder. Just keep in empty so you don't have an accident.

You're most likely just having braxton hicks contractions. Mine hurt sometimes. I describe them as a squeezing like a fist inside my tummy and my whole stomach hardens. Then lets go between 20-30 seconds later. Sometimes they feel like cramping to me or like constipation mixed with period cramps. But they let off soon enough. If you are concerned you can always call your OB office and speak with the nurse and they will get back to you with what your dr. says. But a good thing to tell weather they are braxton hicks or real contractions is to get up and walk. If they worsen and get harder and longer with walking they are true contractions. If they let up with walking then they are fake. Also drink lots of water while you're having them because you may be a hair dehydrated which brings on naggy crampy contractions and could even possibly throw you into premature labor. You shouldn't worry though about baby being breech right now- I don't know why they scared you so bad about it. Baby doesn't really flip until week 35 and even sometimes later. They will try to turn him if need be later on. No worries for now. In a few weeks you could try getting a bag of frozen veggies or something and putting them on the top of your tummy. Baby doesn't like cold on his head and will sometimes turn on his own because of that. But I serisously wouldn't worry for now. :)

it sounds to me as if you are having braxton hicks contractions which is normal for this time in your pregnancy. I suffered alot with them in both of my pregnancy's. As for the pain in your bladder i cant empathize as my bubs were not breech. Always remember if you are really concerned about these pains you should contact your GP or local hospital for further advice.
Take it easy and put your feet up.

I have heard that in the later stages of pregnancy you often get false labour pains, could that be what this is? Sort of like your body getting into training for the main event? But really I would see your dr, you shouldn't depend on advice in here for something as important as your and your baby's health, you don't know how qualified anyone here is.
