Even though there is little magic on tv nowadays, what kind of magic do you prefer (ie close up magic or stage illusions). I personally prefer stage illusions, such as sawing a woman in half, zig zag, beheaded etc etc.

gimme a cheap palor trick charlie any day with a deck of cards.
the guy that leans on jokes and humor over the magical swammi kooks that saw bodies in half and pull rabits out of grandmas skirt.
this way everyone gets a bit entertained.

nah David Blaine style close up magic. Slight of hand etc etc, it makes you think more and is way more impressive. Cutting a woman in half is so old and its obvious its not real. The tv show with the masked magician shows all of these "stage" illusions and its a real disapointment when you know how it all works.

I like magic where they show you how the trick is done because for me the kind of thinking behind the tricks is the most interesting thing.
