Well all the stars you can see? That is how many there are on any given night. During the summer months we are facing the center of our galaxy at night. So during this time we see a lot more stars. During the winter we are facing the outer edges of our galaxy so there are not as many. But the colder air doesnt make the stars seem to jump, and they are prettier and more colorful. The region around Orion is considered the star nursury as there are a lot of new stars forming.

Wow - that is going to depend upon several variables. Although unrelated - I think Avogardro's number is appropriate for answering this question: 6.0221415 X10^23. It is as good as answer as any - and if your eyesight is good enough it is possible, although you could never count them in one night.

It depends on how good your eyesight is and how dark your location is, but the usual answer is about 3,000 from a dark location for a person with average eyesight.
